Join Automotive Curator, James Moss, as he highlights Edison's work on the world's earliest electric vehicles. The presentation will be based around the electric tractor. Thomas Edison had worked on a battery to power a car way back in the early 1890s shortly after the first motorized cars came out. He developed a nickel-iron battery to be used in vehicles, which was more powerful than anything previous.
